Kefla supplemental products are made with certified organic full spectrum hemp extract, which means traces of THC (below 0.3%) may be present in our products. Consuming even small quantities of naturally occurring THC via a hemp infused CBD product could lead to a failed drug test.
-
Full spectrum hemp extract, which is the source of cannabidiol (CBD) in our products, is made using the whole hemp plant and may contain trace amounts of naturally occurring THC along with a range of other minor cannabinoids, flavonoids, and terpenes.
-
Cannabinoids are a group of compounds originally thought to be uniquely produced by cannabis. The two most well known cannabinoids are THC (Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol). Interestingly enough, both THC and CBD start out as CBG (the mother cannabinoid), which is converted by enzymes into THC and/or CBD.
-
Terpenes are essential oils found in botanicals that have unique properties and work synergistically with other compounds, such as cannabinoids, found in plants. Terpenes provide the aroma to hemp, and they are also found in coffee, eucalyptus, hops, and many other botanical sources.
-
Biologically speaking, they are all the same! However, hemp is a legal term referring to the amount of THC present in the mature plant. In the United States, hemp plants have a concentration of THC that is less than 0.3%. Hemp plants commonly have higher concentrations of CBD (cannabidiol) and can be used for many other applications including paper, textiles, biofuel, food, and clothing.
